About memcached

Provides the backend cache configuration used by MandelBlog Django projects.

Installation

Add ocyan.plugin.memcached to the project dependencies. It preserves local *.base settings and otherwise contributes Django’s PyMemcacheCache for the local memcached service. Deployment topology and cache invalidation policy remain application responsibilities.

The *.base guard is intentional: it avoids requiring a local memcached service during development.
